The industry of the Visegrád countries, with its central position on NATO’s eastern flank and relatively large economic potential, has the potential to play a significant role in the defence of this part of Europe. A well-developed arms industry is also a necessary factor for the V4 countries to be able to pursue a foreign and security policy that is as sovereign as possible.
