„After Finland and Sweden joined NATO, the Baltic Sea became a de facto inland sea of the Alliance, and security in the north of Europe significantly improved. All NATO states in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) are now a credible force for countering Russia’s possible attacks. Despite all this how can we ensure continued progress in enhancing regional security without becoming complacent? Are NATO’s forces currently deployed in the Baltic Sea adequately equipped and prepared to address all possible threats?
