The Local Government Economic Congress – the 2nd Forum of the Three Seas Regions will take place next week in Lublin. The event aims to strengthen the cohesion of the regions of the European Union by strengthening the socio-economic and scientific cooperation of local governments from Central and Eastern European countries participating in the Three Seas Initiative, i.e. Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.
During the event, speeches and lectures will be given by, among others: President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin, President of the Management Board of PKN Orlen Daniel Obajtek or President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, dr Marek Dietl.
Our experts will also have the opportunity to present themselves during the event. Marlena Gołębiowska from the Baltic Team and dr Łukasz Lewkowicz from the Visegrad Team will be speakers at The Three Seas Initiative – where are we today? panel, prepared together with the Regional Centre for International Debate in Lublin. Apart from them, the following experts will also participate in the interview: Tomáš Strážay, Director of the Research Center of the Slovak Foreign Policy Union, and Goran Andrjanić, Expert of the Three Seas Foundation, Croatia.
