Visit of IEŚ Board and analysts to Stockholm

On November 30, 2022, a workshop meeting was held at the embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm and at the Council of the Baltic Sea States.

One day later, prof. Beata Surmacz, prof. Tomasz Stępniewski and dr Damian Szacawa participated in the CBEES Annual Confernce 2022. Where are we now? Perspectives on East European Area Studies Today at Södertörn University.
As part of the event, our experts held two presentations:

• prof. Beata Surmacz and prof. Tomasz Stępniewski: Repositioning Central Europe in Poland (presentation by the Institute of Central Europe in Lublin, IES)
• Dr Damiana Szecawa: Council of the Baltic Sea States: from a Soft International Organisation to a Knowledge Creator
