On 19 March, a closed seminar titled “The Northern Turn in Polish Geopolitical Culture” was held at the War Studies University in Warsaw, organized by the Institute of Central Europe in Lublin and the Academic Center for Strategic Analysis (ACAS).
During the seminar, IEŚ analysts Dr. Damian Szacawa and Piotr Oleksy presented an analysis of the significance of the “northern turn” in Polish foreign policy. Their presentations served as a starting point for a broader discussion, moderated by Dr. Spasimir Domaradzki (IEŚ) together with ACAS analysts Dr. Justyna Olędzka and Kacper Wańczyk.
The event brought together representatives of expert and analytical communities from across Poland, including Jacek Cichocki, Director of ACAS at the War Studies University, and Dr. Anton Saifullayeu, Deputy Director for Research and Analysis at the Institute of Central Europe.
Held in a closed format, the seminar provided a platform for an in-depth exchange of views on the future directions of Polish foreign policy.
