Analysts from the Institute of Central Europe, Marlena Gołębiowska and Łukasz Lewkowicz, were present at the Business Forum during the 8th Summit of the Three Seas Initiative in Bucharest, accompanying a study visit organized as part of a project Three Seas Initiative Research Center.
In the two-day event (September 6 and 7), they participated in a presidential panel, where the speakers were the President of Romania – Klaus Werner Iohannis, the Prime Minister of Romania – Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, the President of Poland – Andrzej Duda, the Prime Minister of Croatia – Andrej Plenković, the President of Latvia – Edgars Rinkēvičs, the President of Lithuania – Gitanas Nausėda, and United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate – John Kerry. They also attended other panels focusing on energy, transport, and digital infrastructure as well as investments in the Three Seas Initiative region.
Furthermore, during their stay in Bucharest, the analysts participated in meetings with scientists from the University of Bucharest and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, as well as experts from the European Institute of Romania. They also took part in a discussion panel organized by the New Strategy Center and the Three Seas Initiative Research Center.
