Our experts at FIFTH ANNUAL TARTU CONFERENCE ON RUSSIAN AND EAST EUROPEAN STUDIES

IEŚ experts (prof. Tomasz Stępniewski, dr Aleksandra Kuczyńska-Zonik and dr Andrzej Szabaciuk) took part in  FIFTH ANNUAL TARTU CONFERENCE ON RUSSIAN AND EAST EUROPEAN STUDIES, “Post-Socialist (dis)Orders”, which was held online between 6th and 8th June in Tartu (Estonia). 

During the panel „Geopolitics, security and migration in East-Central Europe and in the post-Soviet region” (organized by IEŚ) our experts held their lectures: prof. Tomasz Stępniewski, dr George Soroka: „NATO, the European Union, Ukraine and Putin’s Russia: geopolitics and security issues”, dr Aleksandra Kuczyńska-Zonik: „Migration in the Baltic States: New Trends, New Dimensions” and dr Andrzej Szabaciuk: „Migration from Eastern Europe after Ukrainian crisis: determinants, scale and significance”. Prof. Tomasz Stępniewski was the moderator and Louis John Wierenga (University of Tartu) the debater.
