On October 31, 2025, a meeting dedicated to regional cooperation in the field of security was held in Riga, organized by the Baltic Security Foundation (BSF). At the invitation of the organizers, Dr. habilit. Aleksandra Kuczyńska-Zonik from the Baltic Team of the Institute of Central Europe (IEŚ) participated in the event.
The discussion also included students from the Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University (USA), led by Professor Gabriela M. Thornton. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives on security in the Baltic Sea region and on transatlantic cooperation.
The event was organized by BSF Director Olevs Nikers as part of the Transatlantic Security Exchange Program, which aims to strengthen relations between academic and expert communities from Europe and the United States in the field of international security.
