On May 18, 2022, Dr. Eyüp Ersoy from the Department of International Relations of Ahi Evran University, Kirşehir (Turkey) was the guest of ICE. He gave a lecture on the reaction of the Middle East countries to Russian aggression against Ukraine, the impact of the war in Eeastern Europe on the dynamics of the situation in the Middle East and the Russian presence in the Middle East region.
At the end of the lecture an expert debate was held, attended by ICE staff and numerous guests. This discussion was attended by i.a. Mr Adam Michalski from the Turkey, Caucasus and Central Asia Team, Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) and the staff of the Institute of Political and Administrative Sciences, Marie Curie-Skłodowska University, Dr. Bartosz Bojarczyk and Mr. Majid Asadnabizadeh.
