The guest of Radio Lublin’s “Eastern Studio” programme was Dr Jakub Olchowski, a senior analyst at the Institute of Central Europe in Lublin.
The topic of discussion was the reconstruction of the Ukrainian government and its political and social consequences. The expert analysed the reasons behind changes in the most important state positions, including the appointment of a new prime minister and the departure of the minister of defence.
The program also addressed the significance of the government reshuffle for Ukraine’s system of governance, the position of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the potential impact that these personnel changes may have on the functioning of the state and public sentiment in Ukraine.
Dr Olchowski also commented on the challenges facing the Ukrainian authorities in the context of the ongoing war and the continuing process of political decision-making in Kyiv.
