The Institute of Central Europe (IEŚ) co-organised a meeting bridging together representatives of international institutions, diplomats, and members of the academic community to discuss regional cooperation and the importance of international initiatives in strengthening democratic resilience.
The event was attended by Dr Spasimir Domaradzki, an analyst at IEŚ, who represented the Institute in discussions on the challenges facing the countries of Central Europe, the role of regional cooperation, and the importance of sharing experiences in building resilient democratic institutions.
Among the participants were Franco Dal Mas, Secretary General of the Central European Initiative (CEI), Yuri Mushka; Deputy Secretary General of CEI; Cosmin Onisii, Ambassador of Romania to Poland, as well as representatives of the University of Warsaw and other international institutions.
The meeting preceded the international academic conference, Building Through Sharing Democratic Experiences: A CEI Approach, which focused on the future of democracy, institutional resilience, and the role of international cooperation in addressing contemporary challenges.
The event was organised by the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, the Centre for Eastern Studies (CES), and the Central European Initiative (CEI).
