W dniach 6-8 listopada 2019 r. analitycy Instytutu Europy Środkowej: dr Aleksandra Kuczyńska-Zonik, dr Agata Tatarenko i dr Roman Romantsov wzięli udział w CBEES Annual Conference 2019: Central and Eastern Europe 1989-2019: Orders and Freedoms w Sztokholmie, zorganizowanej przez Södertörn University oraz IRES, Uppsala University.
Aleksandra Kuczyńska-Zonik zaprezentowała temat: „Security perspective(s) in the Baltic states”, Agata Tatarenko wystąpiła z referatem: „Relics of Communism: Politics of Memory Toward Soviet Heritage in the Central and Eastern European Countries”, a Roman Romantsov przedstawił wyniki badań pt. „Amnesia or Remembrance? The Politics of Memory of the Holocaust in Belarus, Ukraine and Lithuania 1991-2018”.
