Skazana na imperium? Lęki i dyskurs imperialny w procesie samoidentyfikacji Rosji poradzieckiej

Doomed to feel like an empire? Anxieties and imperial discourse in the post-Soviet Russia’ self-identification process

Abstrakt: Celem artykułu jest wskazanie przyczyn niepowodzenia sformułowania nowej, nieimperialnej tożsamości Rosji. Zastosowanie teorii bezpieczeństwa ontologicznego pozwala spojrzeć na rozpad ZSRR jako sytuację krytyczną, która podważyła tzw. fundamentalne kwestie rosyjskiej tożsamości. Dla powrotu dyskursu imperialnego miały znaczenie dwa źródła lęków: relacje ze znaczącym Innym (Zachód) oraz lęk dotyczący kruchości terytorium, któremu w niniejszym artykule poświęcono szczególną uwagę. Lęki ontologiczne przyczyniły się do aktywowania habitusu imperialnego, co ilustruje omówiony przykład Rosyjskiego Towarzystwa Geograficznego.
