W dniach 5-7 kwietnia 2024 r. odbyła się międzynarodowa konferencja BASEES (British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies) na Uniwersytecie w Cambridge w Wielkiej Brytanii. Prof. Tomasz Stępniewski moderował panel pt. The Russia-Ukraine War and the Evolving Security Dilemmas in Central and Eastern Europe, w czasie którego wygłosił referat pt. A Shift in the Security Paradigm in Central and Eastern Europe: The Case of NATO’s Eastern Flank during the Russia-Ukraine War. Z kolei dr Hanna Bazhenova moderowała panel pt. Transformation of Second World War Memory after the Russian Aggression, podczas którego zaprezentowała referat pt. Ukraine’s Second World War Memoryscape in the Context of Russian Aggression.
