On 24 May 2022, Prof. Beata Surmacz, IEŚ Director, and Prof. Tomasz Stępniewski, Deputy Director of IEŚ, met with Dr. Gediminas Kazėnas from Mykolas Romeris University,vVilnius, a specialist in the Ministry of National Defence of Lithuania. The meeting focused on strengthening the research cooperation between IEŚ, the Lithuanian partner on contemporary Polish-Lithuanian relations and the security situation in the Baltic Sea region.
